About Me

Dr. Laurian Csurovski

BM/BS, GP, Diploma - Forensic Medicine, Diploma – Occupational Health, UK DMC

I graduated from medical school in June 2001 and have since gained extensive experience in various hospital roles, including Internal Medicine, A+E, and General Surgery. In November 2007, I transitioned into a Medical Advisor role for the DWP, which I held for several years. Seeking a new challenge, I completed a course from the National Policing Improving Agency in Durham and continued to develop my skills as a Forensic Medical Examiner by working for different constabularies around the country, including Merseyside, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Humberside, and Cumbria. During this time, I completed a Diploma in Forensic Medicine awarded by Teesside University. In 2015, I have decided to follow my passion and underwent training in diving and aquatic medicine, completing several DMC and DDRC courses.

In 2017, I began working with DeltaMed Consulting Ltd, where I provide medical assessments for insurance companies and occupational health.

I completed several courses in occupational medicine provided by the Faculty of Occupational Medicine at Manchester University, and my role culminated in me receiving the Diploma in Occupational Medicine awarded by the Faculty of Occupational Medicine in London.

From 2020 to 2022, I worked as a speciality doctor in Psychiatry at several hospitals, including Cotswold Huntercombe Hospital, Royal Blackburn Hospital, Elysium Wrexham Hospital, Priory Altrincham Hospital, and Hollins Park Warrington Hospital.

Since 2022, I have been an approved diving referee of the UK Diving Medical Council. As an active diver myself since 2011, I understand the importance of safety in diving and the implications of personal medical health on an individual's risk. I am a member of several diving clubs in the NW, including Aquaventurers Liverpool and Fins Preston, and have completed hundreds of dives all around the world.
